The Beauty of Natural Motion
There's something mesmerizing about watching a dragonfly move.
We've translated that delicate sense of motion into a wooden mechanical sculpture, where carefully designed mechanisms bring nature and craftsmanship together.
Every movement reveals the quiet beauty of mechanical art.
Handmade with Care
Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans over dozens of hours, with natural variations in wood grain and process giving every piece its own unique character.
From design and cutting to carving, sanding, waxing, and assembly, every step is refined through repeated adjustments and careful attention. No molds are used, and efficiency is never prioritized over craftsmanship. Instead, a slower path is chosen—so each piece is truly made, not manufactured.
That is why it carries a sense of weight and substance that mass-produced items simply cannot replicate.
True enthusiasts understand the craft, the effort behind it—and genuinely appreciate it.
A Little Wonder for Your Space
Whether displayed on a desk, bookshelf, or bedside table, this wooden dragonfly brings a sense of curiosity and quiet beauty to its surroundings.
It's a charming companion for anyone who appreciates nature, craftsmanship, and the magic of moving sculptures.
Perfect for Gifting
A thoughtful gift for nature lovers, art collectors, and anyone fascinated by mechanical creations.
Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply surprising someone with something truly special.
A little piece of nature, brought to life through wood and motion.

FAQs
Common questions and precautions are as follows
Does it really help you relax?
The slow, repeatable motion encourages a short, screen-free pause—many owners use it 2–3×/day for 30–60s.
Is it loud?
Choose how you’d like your space to feel: the Music Version adds a gentle melody for bedtime routines and mindful moments; the Non-Music Version offers the same elegant motion in silence for work, reading, and deep focus.
Does it need batteries?
Nope, it charges with a Type-C port. Built-in 400mAh battery, one charge lasts a long time.
Why does the appearance of the wooden handmade product l received differ from that in the pictures?
Every single piece is crafted from natural wood. As a result, it's anticipated that there will be variances in the grain, texture, and color. Natural features such as gradations, color distinctions, wood knots, insect markings, and repair signs are all integral to its allure. These elements don't suggest any problem with the quality; instead, they accentuate the distinct beauty inherent in genuine wood.
Why do some Mariner Poet works appear on different platforms?
Mariner Poet develops its works through a co-creative model with long-term studio partners. Some pieces may appear across different platforms during their early stages as part of real-world testing and exploration.
In addition, as our designs gain visibility, unauthorized imitations may also appear on certain platforms. These are not produced, curated, or approved by Mariner Poet.
What defines a Mariner Poet work is not mass exclusivity, but creative authorship — the ideas, narratives, and artistic direction that shape how a piece is designed and evolves over time. As the brand grows, we are increasingly focusing on limited editions, museum collaborations, and context-driven creations that are developed uniquely under the Mariner Poet vision.

I love my Dragon! It is beautiful and the workmanship is immaculate! There was an issue with the gears becoming stuck, they responded quickly with a resolution. I'm so grateful for their help and for my beautiful dragon. Watching it fly gives me such a peace! I will be purchasing again! Jenny T.

I ordered the Walnut version the 28th of June. I was sceptic at first because I did not know if it would be delivered, knowing I could be scammed through TikTok. But the 13th of July it was delivered at my doorstep! It had to be shipped to the Netherlands and no problem following the Dragon along the trip. The package was neatly wrapped in bubble plastic and the Dragon itself was also wrapped perfect to avoid damage during travel. The instructions to assemble the Dragon was easy to use and even got some spare parts if something breaks in the future. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend! I am even looking at other products :)
Really awesome!
Dragons are beautiful. Ordered one of each color. The light colored one worked perfectly, the darker one gets stuck.
MarinerPoet™ Handcrafted Wooden Ocean Dragon Automaton
Store owner replied: Hi Guthrie,I just saw your review and wanted to reach out personally. I understand that one of the walnut dragons is not operating correctly. Could you please let me know if the motor can still be heard running, but the dragon itself is not moving? Before trying anything else, please make sure the dragon has been charged for at least 10–15 minutes using the charging cable included in the box. During charging, the dragon cannot operate, which is normal. After charging, please try turning it on again. If you can hear the motor running but the dragon is not moving, it's possible that an internal gear became stuck during transportation due to an impact in transit. As a first step, could you please try gently tapping the base with your hand a few times and then testing it again? If convenient, would you also be able to send us a short video showing the issue? That will help us identify the exact cause more quickly. Please don't worry — if this turns out to be a product quality issue, we will arrange a free replacement and make sure the problem is fully resolved. We always stand behind our products and will take responsibility for making things right. I look forward to hearing from you.
Took me a wee minute to work out the instructions! Then got it! It is beautifully cràfted. Thank you!

I bought this as w gift for my dragon loving daughter for her birthday which is in July so I haven’t seen it in action yet, but am sure she will love it!!
MarinerPoet™ Handcrafted Wooden Ocean Dragon Automaton
Store owner replied: Thank you! 😊 I'm sure your daughter won't be disappointed. I hope it makes her birthday extra special! If you have any questions or run into any issues after opening it, just send me a message anytime.
The carving is no where near the quality of the pictures. Also there is clear glue surrounding the ears. The aesthetic quality get a 5 star, but the actual construction isn't t worth the price.
I absolutely love it!! I was away and only picked it up today. It’s so beautiful 🥰

Store owner replied: Thank you！❤️

The dragon arrived safely in your sturdy box. I haven’t built it yet but at first inspection the parts were wrapped and gently packed. The parts looked like they were made well. I will be putting it together this winter.
MarinerPoet™ Handcrafted Wooden Ocean Dragon Automaton
Store owner replied: Whenever you decide to build it this winter, if you run into any questions or issues during assembly, just message me anytime.
Absolutely 5 stars for these guys. I ordered the Dragon and Manta Ray, one for each of my adult daughters, and they both loved them. They’re beautiful, easy to finish putting together, and arrived on time. The only tiny negative- when I ordered them I got a shipping tracker email with a dead link. But before I started to worry about it they arrived and were both super cool and in perfect condition. 10/10 would order again. Thank you
MarinerPoet™ Handcrafted Wooden Ocean Dragon Automaton
Store owner replied: “10/10 would order again” honestly made me smile. And sorry about the tracking link confusion — sometimes the logistics system updates a bit slowly at the beginning.
A magical piece I know is going to be loved and displayed prominently- each one I have ordered is lovely and beautifully crafted.
